140 years of making a difference!
You can help people with low vision live life to the fullest and achieve their goals by donating to See Differently today!
This Christmas we’re asking our incredible community to keep our 140 year legacy going by supporting our organisation and our life changing Guide and Assistance Dog Program.
Meet Michael.
Michael unexpectedly and suddenly lost his sight. It was not the retirement he thought he was going to live, but that didn’t stop him! Michael received his first guide dog Roy 10 years ago who completely rebuilt his confidence and helped him enjoy the things he loved before losing his sight. Now with Sterling, his second dog by his side he lives a full life swimming three times a week, is learning Braille and sits on a non-for-profit board.
Your continued donations helps people like Michael gain access to guide dogs and achieve their goals while living a more confident life.
Did you know that over our 140 years we have helped hundreds of thousands of people living with vision impairments?
Donate today to help people like Nicole live life to the fullest!
In her own words, Nicole didn’t identify with being a white can user! But when both her husband and her See Differently mobility instructor urged her to ‘get on with it’ she did just that. And with hobbies that include travelling, bushwalking and hiking, she now utilizes an everyday white cane and all-terrain cane to navigate life.
We support people all over South Australia with Guide and Assistance Dogs, OT services, employment services, counselling, Braille education and more.
We are lucky to receive government funding for some of our programs, however, we would not be able to continue the work we do without the generous support of our community.
