Fundraise to make a difference for See Differently
Our community is incredible. We have an amazing community of volunteers who care for our puppies and we have an awesome community who support and even organise fundraisers for See Differently.
Every dollar you raise for See Differently goes towards helping people who are blind or living with low vision as well as supporting our Guide and Assistance Dog program which provides Guide Dogs for people who are blind and OPK9 Assistance Dogs for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Charlotte knows exactly what happens to the money we raise for See Differently. That’s because Charlotte lives with Zeke, a See Differently Guide Dog by her side. Charlotte is also a community fundraising extraordinaire. This year she’s holding her third consecutive dinner and auction to raise funds for See Differently. So far she’s raised more than $50,000 for See Differently.
Types of community fundraisers
Community fundraisers are people who get the job done! They roll up their sleeves and put their passion and enthusiasm into raising funds to make a difference.
You can do all sorts of things to raise funds for us. In the past we’ve had people do bingo nights, very long runs (from Adelaide to Melbourne), movie nights, school carnivals, dinners and dog walks.
The options are endless.
Whether your event is big or small, indoors or outdoors, on one day or throughout the year, you can choose whatever suits you. Host a healthy BBQ, dress up or dress down, shave your head, organise a bake sale or simply get together with friends. What about a dinner party, golf day with colleagues?

You will need to register your community fundraising event with our team and we’ll provide you with a community fundraiser pack with all the information about how to raise funds for See Differently as well as some tips for running a successful fundraiser.
