Our Board
Our Board sets the strategic direction and oversees governance, performance, and compliance. The Board ensures we remain accountable, transparent, and aligned with our mission through regular consultation with our clients to ensure our services are effective, and future ready.
Kate McKeough - B.A, B.Com, LLB
President
As a lawyer and Partner in the Corporate & Commercial division of HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, Kate is a specialist in companies and securities law and has a broad practice in general commercial law. Kate has previously served as sole Legal Counsel and Company Secretary of ASX-listed Terramin Australia Limited, and currently serves as Deputy Chair of Adelaide based homelessness charity, Catherine House Inc. Kate’s professional skills and experience position her well to assist See Differently moving forward.

Barry Clarke - FIPA
Vice-President
Barry brings a unique blend of skills to the See Differently Board; he is a qualified accountant, with broad experience in financial management and corporate governance. Barry is legally blind and an See Differently client therefore understands the challenges and support required by people who are blind or vision impaired.

Kate Berry - Grad Dip HRM, Dip BUS T
Vice-President
As a senior Human Resources Executive with experience in multiple industries, including tourism, Sport, Retail and professional services, Kate brings a commercial mindset and Human Resources expertise to the Board that will assist See Differently maintain its client centric focus.

Dr Grant Raymond
MBBS, FRANZCO, GAICD
Grant is an Ophthalmologist – Retina Specialist. He is Vice President , Treasurer and a national Board Director of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) having also served as a past Chairman of the SA Branch. He is a past Captain and Chairman of the Management Committee of Kooyonga Golf Club. His special interest in strategic planning and risk management brings a balanced skill set to assist See Differently navigate the challenging environment currently being faced by the disability and BVI sectors.

Jane Ford - BA (Journ), BEC, BA – Hons Politics, PhD
As a corporate communications and policy specialist with broad experience in government and the private sector, together with qualifications in international trade policy, journalism, politics and economics, Jane’s insight will assist the Board with achieving its mission and effectively communicating its goals both internally and externally.
Edward Carlson - MBA, BEc
Ed leads the team at Lumination and specialises in building innovative technology companies. Ed’s passion is EdTech and how innovations in the classroom and workplace prepare people for the changing landscape of technological transformation. Prior to Lumination he worked at Google, TRO and various startups – building teams, products and leading growth in the ANZ region.
Damian Papps - FCA
With over three decades of global financial services experience in public and private sectors Damian is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and is an experienced Director having served on several Boards. Since 2011 he has specialised in Healthcare, with a focus on Aged Care and Retirement Living, hospitals, pharmacy, medical specialists, general practice and disability services.

Damian Papps - FCA
Damian is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants ANZ with over 30 years global experience in financial services and governance. Since 2011 he has specialised in healthcare, spanning aged care, retirement living, hospitals, pharmacy, general practice, and disability services. Damian brings deep financial and board expertise to strengthen organisations delivering positive community outcomes.

Anthony Wood
Executive Manager, Finance & Commercial
Anthony is a Finance Executive and Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience across professional, corporate, and operational roles. He has served on Executive Leadership Teams and partnered with C-suite executives across Finance, Corporate Services, Operations, and Sales. He is passionate about using his expertise to support See Differently to grow, innovate, and create lasting change for the communities it serves.
Jody Martin-Rankin
Executive Manager, Strategy, Partnerships & Innovation
Jody has over nine years senior leadership experience at See Differently, focusing on creating social impact through strategic innovation, collaboration, and co-design. With expertise in change management, cultural transformation, and organisational leadership, she champions inclusive approaches that strengthen services, empower communities, and drive sustainable progress aligned with the organisation s mission and values.
Sally Raphael
Executive Manager, Marketing
Sally is a senior brand, marketing, and communications professional with 20 years’ experience leading high-performing teams and delivering integrated strategies. She has extensive expertise in brand building, communications, and stakeholder engagement, including a decade working on major regeneration projects in London. Sally is passionate about creating meaningful connections that drive positive impact for communities.
Ana Gonzalo
Executive Manager, Fundraising
Ana brings more than 20 years of experience in fundraising and engagement, with a passion for values-led philanthropy and meaningful human connection. She is driven by helping people give with intention and building relationships that create lasting impact for communities.
Ana has led fundraising and engagement strategies across the education sector, developing authentic donor relationships and growing sustainable support. In her role at See Differently, she leads organisation-wide fundraising and engagement with a focus on integrity, inclusion and long-term impact.
Peter Ware
Executive Manager, Manufacturing & Packaging
Peter is a hands-on leader with ten years at See Differently in senior and executive management experience in manufacturing and operations. Passionate about continuous improvement, innovation, and cultural change, he builds trusted, people-focused teams through open, ethical leadership. Peter thrives on driving business transformation, enhancing systems and processes, and fostering collaborative solutions that improve performance and long-term sustainability.
Nina Dodunski
Executive Manager, People, Culture & Capability
Nina is a highly experienced People and Culture executive with more than 20 years’ experience leading workforce, culture, and capability initiatives across healthcare, community services, manufacturing, and facility services. She is passionate about creating inclusive, safe, and high-performing workplaces where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work. With expertise across the employee lifecycle, workplace relations, work health and safety, organisational development, and leadership coaching, Nina brings a collaborative and people-focused approach to driving positive change. She is committed to building strong teams and workplace cultures that enable individuals and organisations to grow, innovate, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the communities they serve.
Client Advisory Committee
This committee brings the voice of our clients into every level of decision-making, because lived experience matters. Made up of people with lived experience of vision loss, the CAC advises on service relevance, strategic planning, and client outcomes—ensuring the voice of our community is always heard.
Michael Hutchison (Chair)
Michael is the inaugural chair of See Differently’s refreshed and reinvigorated Client Advisory Committee. He first joined the Committee in 2016.
Michael has over 40 years’ experience as a housing and town planning specialist, working in both the public and private sectors.
He lost his sight in 2015. The support of his partner and See Differently have been pivotal to the rebuilding of his life.
In 2017 Michael was elected to the Board of Directors of a leading Disability provider and in 2018 joined their Finance and Audit Committee. Both Directorships are ongoing.
With a clear understanding of the immediate and ongoing impact the dramatic loss of sight had on both he and his partner, Michael is a passionate advocate for peer support and social inclusion programs
Ashleigh Stodden
Ashleigh is a clinical psychologist working across cancer services and private practice, supporting individuals with mental health challenges and disabilities. Diagnosed with complete achromatopsia at six months old, she is legally blind and passionate about self-advocacy. Originally from North Queensland, she now lives in Adelaide with her husband and two dogs. Ashleigh holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and has researched suicide prevention. As an NDIS provider, she brings lived experience and professional insight to See Differently, aiming to empower others with low vision to recognise their strengths and reach their goals.
Barry Clarke
Barry is a See Differently Board member and ex-officio member of the Client Advisory Committee. A qualified accountant, he brings extensive experience in financial management and corporate governance. As a legally blind client of See Differently, Barry understands firsthand the challenges faced by people living with low vision and is committed to supporting services that empower and advocate for the community
Christine Davis
Christine trained as a nurse and midwife in England before emigrating to Australia in the 1970s. She worked in school and youth health, supporting young families and running parenting programs. Christine later lectured at TAFE and trained volunteers in child protection. She retired in 2015 due to sudden vision loss and now enjoys art classes. Her career reflects a lifelong commitment to supporting families and children through education and care.
David Olney
David is a legally blind marketing and communication strategist who previously taught strategic culture and problem solving at the University of Adelaide. He’s passionate about empowering people through effective communication. David is also a podcaster, guitarist, yoga practitioner, and avid audiobook listener. He brings creativity, insight, and lived experience to See Differently.
Domenico Trimboli
Domenico has been a member of the Client Advisory Committee for See Differently since 2021.
With nearly 20 years of experience in finance, data analysis, and policy development, he brings strong corporate and change management expertise. As a client of See Differently for over 40 years, Domenico combines professional insight with lived experience to support the Committee’s mission of improving services and advocacy for people with low vision.
Lisa Cundy
Lisa is the Ministerial Liaison for the SA Fire and Emergency Services Commission and has held executive roles at SAPOL. She’s worked with NDIS providers and self-manages her own plan. With her guide dog Lana, Lisa works full-time and advocates for blind and low vision individuals to remain employed. She’s passionate about helping others navigate the NDIS and enjoys staying active, socialising at cafés, and walking by the beach. Supporting See Differently’s mission is deeply important to her.
Dr Malcolm Lobban
Malcolm is legally blind and has worked in education, disability, careers, and counselling for over 20 years. He holds multiple degrees, including a Doctorate in Education, and is a passionate advocate for disability rights and inclusive learning. Malcolm brings deep expertise to See Differently’s Client Advisory Committee, especially in adult education. He currently leads International Education at Unley High School. Married with three children and four grandchildren, Malcolm enjoys gardening, travel, piano, and reading in his spare time.
Michelle Howse
Michelle has been legally blind since age 12 and now has around 10% vision. With support from See Differently’s Employment Services, she re-entered the workforce at 40 and has worked at the Office of the Public Advocate for 16 years. Now an Information Officer, she educates the public and professionals on legislation through outreach and presentations. Michelle is passionate about advocating for people with disabilities. She is married with two adult children and a granddaughter, and uses a white cane for mobility.
Mike Linscott
Mike, originally from England, moved to Australia in 1966. He served as CEO of the Scout Association for 17 years, leading major development initiatives. Later, he worked as a Rural Counsellor on Kangaroo Island and as a business consultant. Mike also contributed to Woodcroft College’s financial development and served on the Fundraising Institute of Australia’s Executive Committee. Now retired, he volunteers as Treasurer for two community associations. Mike has Macular Degeneration and limited vision, and brings decades of leadership and advocacy experience to See Differently.
Patrick Edwards
Patrick worked in banking for 35 years, followed by roles in fundraising and pastoral care. After becoming legally blind in 2017 due to retinal vein occlusion, he founded a support group for blind and vision-impaired individuals. He’s active in Vision Australia and Blind Citizens Australia, advocating for tailored support and understanding. Married to Jan for 55 years, with five children and eleven grandchildren, Patrick brings empathy, leadership, and lived experience to See Differently’s community.
