Inclusive Employment Australia

Inclusive Employment Australia is the Australian Government’s new disability employment support program, replacing the former DES model. As SA’s only specialist provider for people with vision conditions, we offer personalised, long-term employement support in South Australia tailored to your goals.

  • Personalised, long-term support with no time limits.
  • Access for people not receiving Centrelink income support.
  • Support for those with limited work capacity (including under 8 hours/week).
  • Help for people who are already employed but need assistance to stay in work.

Our focus is on your strengths, not your challenges, helping you find and keep meaningful employment.

If you’re an NDIS participant aged 14 and over, our program helps you develop independence, job-readiness, and workplace confidence.

Manufacturing & Packaging Employment

Meaningful employment has been part of See Differently’s story for over 140 years. From our manufacturing facility in Gilles Plains, we provide award-rate, flexible low vision employment to more than 70 South Australians with disabilities.

Our team is proud to produce high-quality food packaging and thermoformed plastic products for national and local clients, supported by training, technology, and a caring team environment.

Can I get help if I’m already working?

Yes. If your vision loss is affecting your current job, we can work with you and your employer to adjust, improve accessibility, and help you stay employed.

What is Inclusive Employment Australia?

Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) is the Australian Government’s new disability employment program. It replaces Disability Employment Services (DES) from 1 November 2025.

IEA offers more flexible, personalised, and long-term support for people with disability, injury, or health conditions who are looking for work.

Do I have to be on Centrelink to access the service?

No. You can access Inclusive Employment Australia or our NDIS employment programs even if you’re not receiving income support payments.

Is there a time limit on support?

No. Under Inclusive Employment Australia, there are no two-year time limits. You can receive support for as long as you need.
