- NDIS Practice Standards and NDIS Code of Conduct

- Relevant legislation and contractual obligations under all funding streams, including Disability, Veteran’s Affairs, Employment Services, and privately funded programs.
This policy explains our obligations and practices regarding the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information for all clients and customers across every service.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all individuals, including children, young people, and adults, who engage with See Differently and provide personal information, including NDIS participants, Aged Care, Department of Veterans’ Affairs clients, and other service recipients.
It covers information obtained through various channels, including our website, applications, program services, and other interactions.
Anonymity and Pseudonymity
Individuals may choose to interact with us anonymously or by using a pseudonym. However, in some circumstances, we may be unable to provide certain services without identifying information.
Collection of Personal Information
We will only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for:
- Provision of our services
- Complying with regulatory and legal obligations
- Conducting business operations
Personal information may be collected directly from individuals or from authorised third parties. The types of personal information we collect may include, but are not limited to:

Unsolicited Information

We may disclose personal information to authorised third parties for the purposes stated in this policy, including:
- Government agencies and regulatory bodies as required by law
- Service providers and contractors who assist in delivering our services
- Medical professionals and healthcare providers for health-related services

Individuals have the right to access and request correction of their personal information held by us. Requests for access or correction should be submitted in writing to our Privacy Officer. We will respond to such requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with the requirements of the Act.

If individuals have concerns or believe their privacy rights have been violated, they can submit a complaint to our Privacy Officer. We will promptly investigate and address all complaints in accordance with our internal procedures and legal obligations.
