Your Rights & Responsibilities Policy Statement

Our Commitment to You

See Differently is committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and respectful services that protect your dignity, independence, and wellbeing. We comply with:

  • NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct
  • Aged Care Quality Standards and the Statement of Rights
  • Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
  • Other relevant laws and service requirements for all our funding streams

Your Rights

When you receive support and services from See Differently, we will:

  • Treat you with respect at all interactions
  • Treat you fairly and without discrimination
  • Provide you with all the information about your support and services
  • Ensure we deliver our support and service in safe and healthy environment
  • Respect your privacy and confidentiality
  • Ensure you are safe from physical, sexual, emotional and or verbal abuse
  • Involve you in decision making about your support and services
  • Support you in connecting with other services provided if and when needed

 

What See Differently expect in return

To help us provide high-quality support and services, we ask that you:

  • Provide us with complete and accurate information about yourself and your situation
  • Tell us if things change or you cannot keep an appointment or commitment
  • Act respectfully and safely towards other people using the service, and towards staff and volunteers
  • Provide us with feedback about our service and how we can work better

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our support and services if you violate this policy or the terms of our service agreement.

 

Our Statement on Safety and Safeguarding

We have zero tolerance for abuse, neglect, or harm. All staff are trained to recognise and respond to concerns immediately, and we take action to protect the safety and wellbeing of every client.

We appreciate your cooperation and support in maintaining a positive and respectful community within our support and services.
